LAMPA have established themselves as a very popular, entertaining and vibrant young Irish Trad group from the Midlands. The bedrock and core of the band lies firmly within the Irish Tradition, incorporating a mix of genres into their performances enabling them to deliver a dynamic and energetic folk-improvised fusion.
Individually, members of the band have performed across America and Europe with various projects and have also played at many prestigious venues and festivals all over the UK such as Birmingham Town & Symphony Halls, The London Feis 2011 (Finsbury Park), Moseley Folk Festival, Birmingham TradFest, The o2 Acadamy + o2 Institute Birmingham, Cambridge Folk Festival, The Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Celtic Connections in Glasgow.
