  • Standard hire is for up to 6 hours with a staffed bar.  Rates are reduced if a minimum spend is achieved.

    Sunday to Thursday £200

    Returned in full if a minimum spend of £1000 is achieved

    Friday £400,

    £300 is returned to you if a minimum spend of £2000 is achieved

    Saturday £500

    £300 is returned to you if a minimum spend of £2000 is achieved

    The minimum spend includes all purchases made at the bar at your event and any prebooked buffet purchases.  Refunds are provided within 48 hours after your function subject to terms & conditions. (signpost to booking enquiry)

  • The maximum capacity of the room is 150 people.  The room contains pub style tables and chairs with seating for up to 100 people. Capacity varies dependent on requirements and room set up, we can discuss your individual requirements with you.

  • Yes, access is via an emergency door hence someone does need to notify a member of staff to open the door.

  • The room can be hired during the following hours

    Sunday 12-12

    Monday – Thursday 10-12

    Friday – Saturday  10-1

    If you require times outside of these hours we may be able to apply for a licence to accommodate you, this does incur an additional cost.  If this is something you would like please discuss directly with us and we will provide a quote.

  • No, we do not allow outside catering.  You are welcome to bring your own celebration cake to your event.

  • We have put together buffet menus which we aim to have something for everyone.  If there is something you want that you don’t see ask us and if we can do it we will.  Click for bufet

  • Yes, just let us know where you want the table set up for it and the size required.  We will get a table ready with white table linen for your cake.  Let us know if you want it cut up and we will do this too.

  • Yes.

    Please do not stick anything to walls where there is wallpaper and ensure all gas canisters must be removed by yourself or your supplier.

  • Yes, exactly when will depend on when your event is booked for.  Please check with us and we will advise when the room is available from.

  • Yes, anything left in the room is done so at your own risk we do not take responsibility for anything left in the room.  You will need to ensure that you have agreed a collection time.  In the event of an event immediately after your event we may need to move anything let in the room to another location.

  • Yes, you will need a device that connects via a standard HDMI Cable.

  • Yes your device would need to have a standard phono connection/adapter

  • No, we don’t have DJ equipment in the room.

  • No, the speaker we have are not suitable for this, your DJ would need to bring their own.

  • We are always changing our drinks offerings to keep up with trends.  The best way to see what we have on sale is by looking at our APP, you can do this by searching for Hennesseys Bar on the APP/Play store.  Please note the function room does not have all of the draughts available as it is a smaller bar than the main bar.  If you want further details we can provide an up to date list of draught products upon request.

  • Yes.  We can recommend some acts for you.  Please speak to us about your requirements

  • No, there isn’t a stage.  The ceiling is not very hight and therefore if you choose to hire a stage you would need to take this into consideration.

  • There isn’t any on site parking but there are multiple car parks around the building.
